The primary reason for considering penile prosthesis implantation is long-term erectile dysfunction which has resisted other forms of treated. We begin treating erectile dysfunction by ruling out psychological factors and problems in other organs of the body which could be the underlying cause of dysfunction – e.g. diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis. In case of erectile dysfunction we can apply the so called “virility booster” – an external vacuum pump which supports blood flow into the penis.

Persistent symptoms and lack of treatment effectiveness have resulted in the development of a penile implant which replaces the dysfunctional cavernous bodies in the penis. Implants can be inflatable or non-inflatable. Implanting a penile prosthesis is the most effective way to treat erectile dysfunction.

The fundamental benefit is the restoration of desirable erections. This translates into satisfying sex life and improvement in all areas affected by the consequences of erectile problems. The man regains a sense of confidence and control over the situation. Inflatable implants ensure the best erections and, most importantly, control over the erection.

Simply squeeze the pump located in the scrotum to achieve erection, the duration of which is also under your control. This allows you to resume normal intercourse and achieve pleasure without worrying about losing penile stiffness.

Implanting penile cavernous body prostheses involves replacing these structures with an artificial material. Typical complications include hematoma, pain in the penis and surrounding area, infection and, very rarely, loss of sensation in the penile area. Another risk is the unsatisfactory result of the procedure, especially if a non-inflatable or two-piece implant was chosen.

The patient may also experience discomfort in the penis caused by the presence of the implant. Placement of the implant involves irreversible damage to the cavernous bodies, though it has to be kept in mind that they were dysfunctional.

One of the most important aspects of preparing for procedures involving the male sexual organs is motivation to undergo the operation. The consulting specialist will answer all questions which may have arisen before the visit.

Depending on the procedure you wish to undergo, you must define your goal and desired result. Communicating this information to the specialist will allow us to better plan your treatment and develop the best solution. Be open with the specialist – share your observations and previous experiences in dealing with the problem. This valuable information will help us recommend the optimal procedure.

The penile implant is an advanced device. Its parameters must be individually adapted to the anatomical conditions and expectations of the patient. Everyone is different, therefore Timeless does not have a fixed surgery program, and the purpose of each procedure is to achieve maximum effect. Depending on the current situation and the desired outcome, Dr Janusz Jaworowski, an experienced specialist in inflatable penile implants, will recommend the right implant and adapt the scope of the operation to the type of implant and your anatomy.

There are different types of implants on the market, differing in complexity and functionality. The choice of implant affects the extent of the operation and its cost. The price of the procedure can only be determined after a consultation. That is why Timeless does not advertise with low prices – we always develop an individual cost estimate, taking all the above mentioned factors into consideration.
